Dynojet Power Commander III

MV Agusta Dynojet Power Commander III

Like most modern fuel injected motorcycles, the MV Agusta F4 leaves the factory with a fuelling map that is designed as a compromise. The machine must pass stringent emissions and noise regulations and must be able to run on variable quality fuel.

Dynojet has a long history of designing and producing kits to improve the fuelling of high performance motorcycles and has developed their Power Commander III unit for the F4.

The device fits between the Engine Contol Unit (ECU) and the fuel injectors which inject the fuel into the engine, The Power Commander can be tuned using software to interpret the exact requirements of the engine at all speeds and deliver the optimum fuel/air mixture.

This results in a crisper throttle response, more linear power curve and optimum torque and power throughout the rev range.

The Power Commander can be tuned to compensate for modifications you may have made to your MV Agusta e.g. aftermarket exhaust systems, air filters, engine tuning etc. See the power curve opposite from my bike, the blue graph is before and the red graph is after mapping the Power Commander, a 6 BHP increase!

Don't just take my word for the results, here is a quote from my latest customer

Mark,

Power Commander fitted without difficulty - took bike to Performance
Techniques Dyno today to have it mapped. It tested at 125bhp. on the
evaluation run with the zero map and improved to 129 DIN bhp after mapping.
More importantly the throttle response is a lot cleaner throughout the range
but particularly at low rpm - and when rolling back onto the throttle having
backed off.

They were obviously surprised that the bike made as much power as it did -
more than any MV they have previously tested. To put their dyno results in
perspective (because I know dyno results vary from machine to machine) it
falls into the range of power outputs they usually see from GSX R750
Suzukis - high 120's to low 130's.

Thanks for your help - I'm pleased I decided to fit the Power Commander!
